Daniel Ampomah is the CEO of Lucent Healthcare Services LLC and the
Clinical Education Coordinator at nova Mount Vernon Hospital. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, a Master's Degree in Nursing Administration, and a Certificate in Nursing Education from George Mason University. He received his Doctor of Philosophy in
The nursing (Ph.D.) degree is also from George Mason University.
He holds the Nurse Executive certification from the American Nursing Credentialing Center. He taught nursing at Chamberlain University Arlington Campus, State University of New York (SUNY) Plattsburgh, and Washington Adventist University, Maryland. He is the President of the Virginia Association of Ghanaian Nurses. He manages the Nonprofit Ghana Nursing and Health Center, a Stroke Support Center based in Woodbridge, Virginia.
His main professional interests include the application of research into practice, health policy, nursing education in developing countries, and community health education.
